DISCUSSION QUESTIONS -

18 But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction and bring trouble upon it. 19 But all silver and gold, and every vessel of bronze and iron, are holy to the Lord; they shall go into the treasury of the Lord.” 20 So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. • Jericho was full of idols and false gods. God warns His people to keep themselves from these things. What types of “idols” can we be distracted with in our culture?

  • The Israelites are commanded to destroy certain things and give certain things to the Lord. How can we determine what things in our lives should be discarded and what things should be given to God?

  • The people shouted out of faith before the walls fell down. What are you believing God for in 2023 that you haven’t seen yet? Are you speaking out of faith?

  • After the supernatural miracle, the army had to actually go and conquer the city. After we are supernaturally saved by the grace of Jesus, we are called to go and do good works. Why do you believe so many Christians struggle with “following through” with their Christian walk into all that God is calling them to do?

  • What are you most excited about God doing this year?

  • How can we pray for you?
